Overall Condition: Great condition overall. Case shows light signs of wear associated with age and gentle use. Dial is intact with no signs of blemishes. Handset is in very good condition. Piaget in the 1980s was on a tear, quietly rewriting the rules of elegance while the rest of the world was busy turning up the volume. This Ref. 4087D might be considered a more subdued vintage offering — if not for the spectacular 'falcon's eye' dial set within its white gold case, that is. Tank-like in proportions with a 20mm diameter and and smooth brancards, it features a small unsigned crown, an acrylic crystal, and the aforementioned speckled black dial derived from a stone in the quartz family. Fitted with a set of white gold 'dauphine' hands and signed with the Piaget wordmark, it's powered by a hand-wound movement. Paired to a cool and unusual leather strap with alternating white gold links that mimic the shape of the watch's case, it's finished with a white gold pin buckle.
