Founded in 1860, Panerai watches are renowned all over the globe for their Italian design and technical excellence. Deigned to meet the military requirements of the Italian Royal Navy, the timepieces are known for their clear legibility and luminosity in the dark, as well as performance at extreme depths. The Luminor Chrono range has accompanied some of the most demanding sportsmen as they dive, explore, an d race at the highest level. A stopwatch and water resistance to 100- meters enhance sporting functionality, while a tachymeter scale around the edge of the dial allows for the measurement of speed based on distance or distance based on time. Equipped to handle any challenge, this handsome timepiece is presented in a 44mm brushed steel case and fastens securely with a black alligator leather strap with tone-on-tone stitching. Protected by anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass, the white dial remains understated yet incredibly functional, with luminescent hands and hour markers for optimum visibility, a hollowed chronograph minutes counter at 3 o’clock and the brand’s iconic small seconds counter at 9 o’clock.
