Overall Condition: Very good condition overall. Case shows signs of light wear and appears to be previously polished. Dial is in great condition showing light and even patina. Universal Genève spent the 1950s and '60s building one of the most impressive catalogs in Swiss watchmaking. By the following decade, the manufacture embraced a new design language—sleeker, more aerodynamic, and perfectly in step with the era's fascination with streamlined forms. Few watches capture that evolution better than the White Shadow. Introduced in the late 1960s, the White Shadow was built around one of Universal Genève's greatest technical achievements: the ultra-thin automatic Microtor movement. Rather than using a conventional full-sized oscillating weight, the ingenious micro-rotor architecture allowed the movement to remain exceptionally slim without sacrificing the convenience of automatic winding. It was an engineering milestone that helped define an entire generation of elegant everyday watches.
